The Pants

The Volcom Snow Billow Pant is a big, baggy shell built for guys who want their pants to actually hang - not sit shrink-wrapped to the leg. It's Volcom's streetwear cut brought into a real shell, with a relaxed rise and room through the thigh and leg so you can move without the fabric bunching or pulling.

What We Like

The waterproofing is legit - 10,000mm with 10,000gm² breathability, done through Volcom's V-Science 2-layer construction and finished with a PFAS-free DWR coating. Seams are critically taped, and a breathable lining underneath does the work of moving sweat off your legs instead of trapping it.
Mesh-lined vents let you dump heat on the hike up to a park feature, and the handwarmer pockets are lined in brushed tricot - actually warm, not just fabric-lined for show. The waistband adjusts from the inside, the hem cinches with a bungee, and the boot gaiters have lace hooks to keep them locked down over your boots. And if you've got a compatible Volcom jacket, the Zip Tech Interface zips the two pieces together to shut out deep powder for good - no gap, no snow creeping up your back.

Fit & Sizing

This is a true baggy fit, cut loose on purpose - order your normal size and expect room, not a snug fit. Guys who like extra room for base layers or just want that looser, skate-inspired silhouette will be happy here. If you're after a slim or tapered leg for racing gates or a cleaner look, this isn't that pant - the extra fabric through the leg is the whole point, but it does mean a bit more material that can catch if you're bushwhacking through tight trees.

Why Willis

We've been fitting Pittsburgh skiers and riders since 1970, and we know baggy outerwear runs differently than a slim fit - if you're between sizes, stop into any of our three locations and we'll help you get it right before you buy. Our staff at South Hills, North Hills, and our shop at Seven Springs actually wear this stuff on the hill, so the advice is real.
