ZipFit Demo Program
ZipFit Demo Program
Making the switch to a ZipFit aftermarket liner is a big investment. Willi’s is committed to making sure that our customers have an opportunity to experience the difference we think they can make for some skiers. We made the decision to bring them into our stores by trying them at the Blister Summit in Crested Butte and believe that you should be able to do the same here at Seven Springs.
How It Works
-
Try either liner for $50: Up to 1 day of continuous use (starts at time of molding).
-
We will help you choose the liner that will best fit your situation and boot.
-
The liner will then be molded to fit your foot. This is normally a 20-30 min process. Please note that we suggest not making any permanent changes to your boot for fit issues in case you decide the liners aren’t for you. We cannot add or remove cork from our demo liners.
-
Apply Your Demo Fee to Your Purchase: Up to 2 demo fees ($100 total) can be credited toward the purchase of new ZipFit liners. Please note that 2 day demos may not be possible during peak demand.
-
Gara LV (24.5, 26.5-28.5) models are available for demo (scroll to bottom of page for specific model information). We will add more models and sizes if demand increases.
What You’ll Need
-
Boots and Skis: These are not included as part of the demo fee, please bring your own. We do have a demo fleet of skis available for an additional cost should you need them (link to page).
-
Footbed - we can use your stock insoles from your liners but we HIGHLY suggest the addition of a drop-in or custom in-sole.
-
Photo ID and credit card.
Tips for a Successful Demo
-
Come with an open mind and patience, "perfection doesn't happen in 15 minutes"
-
Use skis you are familiar with if possible and go about a “normal” ski day.
-
Honest feedback about what you liked or didn't like is essential. Our staff will use that information to guide you on what to expect for the future.
-
Like most ski liners, they improve with use, so a short break-in period is expected. With patience, you’ll be rewarded with the best possible fit. If you choose to purchase, we can fine-tune the cork in the liner and make adjustments to your boot to ensure optimal compatibility and comfort.
-
Remember that conditions and fatigue can affect how you feet feel – keep that in mind while comparing to your old liner.
-
Aftermarket Footbeds…..really a tip to improve ANY boot or liner.
ZipFit Gara LV - low volume, meaning less cork material. Comes pro-filled with a moderate amount of OneMinuteFit self-molding cork composite, ideal for low to mid volume boots. The feel is aggressive. ZipFit toe boxes are insulated with thinsulate and real merino wool, keeping your toes warmer while still promoting breathability. Moderately stiff cuff.
Freeride - best fit higher volume ski boot shells and lower volume feet. Fluted cuff - Designed to accommodate larger, lower set calves, the fluted cuff reduces calf pain and is a more forgiving fit.
3mm neoprene lines the interior of this ZipFit, adding a nice element of cushioning without sacrificing the performance of your fit. The Feel is aggressive. ZipFit toe boxes are insulated with Thinsulate and real merino wool, keeping your toes warmer while still promoting breathability. Moderately stiff cuff.
