The Jacket

The Hossegor 20K Pullover skips the front zipper entirely and goes on over your head, sealed up with a 2-way side zip that runs low enough to get in and out without a fight. Volcom rates it 20,000mm waterproofing and 20,000 g/m² breathability, backed by a recycled V-Science 2-layer shell with a PFAS-free DWR finish and taped seams throughout.

The fit is baggy on purpose - Volcom calls it a relaxed, athletic cut built to work across body types instead of running slim through the shoulders and chest. Layer up underneath on the cold days, or wear it looser over a single midlayer when temps climb.

What We Like

We like that Volcom didn't just slap a pullover hood on an old jacket pattern. The side-zip entry actually feels different once you're wearing it - less bulk at the chest, less bunching under a pack strap. The mesh-lined vent with its own 2-way zipper is a smart touch, since you can crack it open without unzipping the whole side.

The Super Suede chin guard is a small detail that earns its spot - no more zipper scrape on your neck when the hood's cinched down tight.

Fit & Sizing

This one runs baggy and it's meant to. Volcom built it as a relaxed, athletic, universal fit rather than something fitted through the torso - if you're between sizes and want more room for layering, size up. If you'd rather wear it closer to the body, stick with your usual size.
