Swix File Brush

The Hard Accessorie

A sharp file stays sharp only as long as its teeth stay clear. Every pass on a steel edge loads those teeth with metal filings, and once they pack in, the file starts skating instead of cutting. The Swix T177B File Brush is the fix — a compact wire brush made to strip filings out of the file's grooves between passes so the cutting edge keeps biting.

It's a small tool, but skipping it costs you files and edges. If you're doing any edge work at home or on the road, this lives in your tuning kit right next to the file itself.
