The Snowboard
The Salomon Sleepwalker is a park and jib board, full stop. True Twin shape, Rock Out Camber, a medium flex — everything on this thing is aimed at rails, side hits, and sending it through the park. It's not trying to be your quiver-of-one all-mountain board. It's trying to be the most fun you've had on a snowboard in a long time, and for the right rider, it delivers exactly that.
The Sleepwalker is Tommy Gesme's board — and if you've seen him ride, you know exactly what this thing was built for. Creative, buttery, lock-into-anything freestyle riding.
Who it's For
Intermediate to advanced riders who spend most of their day in the park, lapping side hits, or hunting down every rail and box on the mountain. The medium flex is forgiving enough that you're not fighting the board on a sloppy press, but it's not so soft that it gets washy when you're pushing speed into a jump. Riders who mostly cruise groomers or spend the majority of their day on open terrain will probably want something with a stiffer flex and a different profile. This board is happiest when you're actively hunting features.
Tech that matters
Rock Out Camber is the profile doing the heavy lifting here. Flat between your feet tracks cleanly into a feature, the camber underfoot loads energy into the nose and tail, and the rocker in the tip and tail makes presses feel natural rather than forced. It's a smart blend — you get the pop of camber without the catchy, unforgiving feel of a full-camber park board.
Popster is Salomon's milled core construction. The core is thinned out underfoot, which shifts the flex point toward the nose and tail. That means pop loads up right where you want it — into your ollie, off a lip, out of a rail. The FSC-certified wood core keeps the feel lively without going brittle.
Royal Rubber Pads are rubber blocks built into the ABS sidewalls at high-pressure points. Rail hits send a lot of vibration through a board. These damp that chatter out and help protect against sidewall blowouts when the park gets rowdy. And the Freestyle EB edge bevel reduces the chance of a caught edge biting you during a jib.
BIAX HD fiberglass wraps it all together — a two-axis layup that keeps the board lively and responsive without stiffening it up. The base is sintered and comes from the factory with a standard stone finish.
We have men's snowboard bindings and boots too, so we can put together a complete park setup for you in one stop.
