The Snowboard Boot

The Salomon Pearl BOA is a straightforward, no-fuss women's snowboard boot built around one idea: get on the mountain fast and stay comfortable all day doing it. Soft flex, a single-dial BOA closure, and a heat-moldable liner make it one of the easiest boots to get in and out of, and one of the most forgiving to break in. If you're newer to snowboarding or just don't want to fight your gear on the way to the chairlift, this boot makes a strong case.

Who It's For

The Pearl BOA is built for beginner to intermediate women riders on all-mountain terrain. It fits a regular-width foot and runs true to size. The soft flex rewards a relaxed, upright stance — great for building turns, working on balance, and riding comfortably through a full day. Riders who already ski or snowboard with real aggression will want to size up in stiffness, but anyone learning the sport or solidifying their basics will feel right at home here.

The sizes we carry run 6 through 9. If you're between sizes, go by your true shoe size first. The 1:1 lasting means every half-size step in the liner comes with a half-size step in the shell, so fit is consistent across the range. Tech That Matters

The lacing setup is a single H4 Coiler™ BOA dial paired with a TX3 textile lace. One dial tightens the upper, the lace handles the lower — you get two zones of adjustment without the complexity of a dual-dial system. Crank it, step on, go.

Inside, the Universal Liner uses heat-moldable Ultralon foam. It fits well out of the box and gets better with time as it conforms to the shape of your foot. The Custom Fit foam positions extra density at the heel, ankle, shin, and instep — the places where an unsupported foot moves around and causes fatigue.

The Feather 1.0 outsole is a combination of EVA foam and Contagrip rubber. EVA keeps the weight down and softens the ride. Contagrip adds traction on ice and wet surfaces — parking lots, lift ramps, anywhere you're walking rather than riding. The whole boot is built on Salomon's FTR (Fit to Ride) construction, which cuts 10% of the weight and bulk compared to a standard build without giving anything up in durability.
