The Snowboard
The Salomon Huck Knife is Salomon's flagship park board, and it's been earning that title because the formula works. It's a men's freestyle snowboard built around a True Twin shape and Quad Camber profile — meaning the same snap, edge hold, and pop whether you're riding regular or switch. Medium flex keeps it accessible without going soft on you. It rewards commitment on jumps and landings, but it won't punish you for an off-day press.
The Quad Camber profile is the heart of this board. Aggressive camber outside the feet loads energy into every pop and locks in on edge, while a mellower load between the feet keeps presses and butters from fighting you. It's not a mellow all-mountain ride — it's a genuine park tool with a sharper feel to it than most medium-flex boards.
Who it's For
Intermediate to advanced park riders who want a board that can lap the features all day and still carve a groomer back to the lift without embarrassing itself. The 149 and 153 suit lighter riders who want a quick, snappy feel. The 156 and 159 are the sweet spot for taller or heavier riders who need a bit more board under them at speed. Riders who primarily freestyle in the park and on side hits will feel right at home. Pure freeriders or anyone chasing powder days will want to look elsewhere — this board is built for the park and doesn't pretend otherwise.
Tech that matters
Quad Camber runs a camber-dominant profile with a more aggressive load outside the feet for snap and response, and a mellower, more forgiving load between the feet. Four contact points give you grip when you need it and release when you don't.
Popster mills the Aspen core underfoot, letting the board flex more naturally through the middle while loading energy into the nose and tail for explosive pop off the lip. The FSC-certified Aspen core keeps the build light and lively.
EQ Rad Sidecut blends linear and radial sidecut geometry to redistribute edge pressure across the full edge. Turns stay consistent and controlled whether you're setting up a jump or riding switch through a flat section.
TRIAX HD Fiberglass with 30% bio-based resin adds board life and torsional response without unnecessary weight. Royal Rubber Pads in the sidewall take the edge off hard landings and firm snow. The Sintered base holds wax better than extruded and stays fast across a wide range of snowboard setups.
