The Boot

The Salomon S/Pro Alpha C BOA 130 is built on the Alpha last — 98mm, narrow, built to lock your heel and hold your foot precisely where it needs to be. What's new for 2027 is ExoDrive, Salomon's third-cuff overlap construction that wraps the ankle tighter than a traditional two-piece overlap and makes the whole boot flex as a single system. The result is every ounce of pressure you put into that boot goes straight to the ski. Add the cuff-mounted BOA® Fit System and two micro-adjustable aluminum buckles, and you're getting a secure, precise fit you can tweak on the chairlift without pulling off a glove.

Who it's For

This boot is for advanced to expert skiers who want a narrow, high-performance fit and are done compromising between power and day-long comfort. If you ski forward, charge hard and want every input transmitted cleanly, the 130 flex and 98mm last are going to feel exactly right. Medium-to-low volume feet suit it best out of the box. Custom Shell HD heat molding can open it to roughly 104mm in the forefoot.

If your feet run wide or you've been buying a wide-last boot, this one won't be the right fit. The 130 flex demands a skier who can drive it — a strong intermediate on a long resort day may find it fights back more than it helps. That's the honest trade-off. Our expert boot fitting team can heat mold the shell and dial the Custom Tongue so it fits your foot, not a generic foot — stop into any of our three locations and we'll sort it out properly.

Flex & Fit

Flex 130 puts this firmly in expert territory. It's stiff enough that it needs you to be in the boot, skiing forward and actively loading it. The S/Pro CF Expert liner is semi-custom — it's got 4D construction and premium finishes, and the edgeless Custom Tongue 2.0 is fully dismantlable so our bootfitters can add or remove foam and dial the instep height anywhere from -8mm to +8mm. The Sensitive² footbed ships with a rigid heel insert, which does real work keeping your heel planted through the full range of motion. While this is a great out of the box feature, an aftermarket footbed  is still a must in a boot like this.

Tech that Matters

ExoDrive Construction — the 3rd cuff overlap wraps the ankle and makes the cuff and shell flex together as one unit instead of two pieces working against each other. Heel retention goes up, energy loss goes down.

Powerlink™ Lower Pivot — a metal bridge between cuff and shell that reinforces the ExoDrive system and keeps cuff alignment compatible with traditional adjustment tools.

Cuff-Mounted BOA® Fit System — sits at the top of the cuff and gives you micro-adjustable upper leg hold without fussing with a power strap. Paired with two aluminum 3D buckles below for complete, layered control.

Custom Shell HD — heat molding process that opens the shell to approximately 104mm in the forefoot for skiers whose feet need just a touch more room than the 98mm out-of-box fit provides.

Custom Tongue 2.0 — fully removable, fully adjustable instep piece. Add foam, strip it back, get the instep height exactly where your foot needs it.
