The Ski
The Rossignol Soul W Pro is a junior girls' all-mountain twin tip that's built to go wherever the mountain goes. A 90mm waist and twin rocker — rocker tip, camber underfoot, rocker tail — means she can smear through soft stuff, pop off rollers, or hold a clean line on a groomer, all on the same run. It's a light, nimble package for a young skier who's ready to explore more than one type of terrain.
Who It's For
This is the right ski for a girl who's moved past the beginner learning curve and is starting to pick her own lines. The soft-to-medium flex and cap construction keep it manageable for a developing intermediate, but there's enough going on under the snow to grow into. The twin rocker lets a young skier experiment without getting caught by the tips. A dedicated carver or a kid pushing into the race side of things will want more edge contact and a stiffer build. For the skier who wants to explore bumps, cut through trees, or hit a jump here and there, this is the right tool.
The women's ski packages page is worth a look too if you want to compare complete setups side by side.
Tech That Matters
The core is a PEFC-certified poplar — sustainably sourced, naturally light, with enough dampness to smooth out chattery snow. Fiberglass laminates keep the flex consistent through the whole ski. CAP construction wraps the topsheet edge-to-edge, which trims weight and makes the ski more forgiving on off-angle landings. The base is 95% recycled material; the edges are up to 20% recycled steel.
Why Willi's
We've been fitting junior skiers in Pittsburgh since 1970. Bring your daughter in, we'll check the boot fit, set the binding release, and make sure the length is dialed for where she's at right now — not just where she'll be next year. Three locations, plus our shop at Seven Springs.
