The Ski

The Rossignol Soul Pro is a junior freeride twin-tip built for the skier who's done with greens and blues and wants to start messing around in real terrain. It's 90mm underfoot, twin-rockered tip to tail, and comes with the XPress 10 GW binding included. It's one of the more complete ski packages we carry for a developing young rider.

Who it's For

This is the right ski for a beginner-to-intermediate junior or teen who's ready to start exploring beyond groomed runs. The soft-to-medium flex and cap construction keep it light and easy to move — a skier who muscled through their first few seasons and now wants to start poking into steeper terrain and softer snow will find it forgiving without being floppy. The 140 and 150 suit smaller-framed, lighter riders just getting comfortable with speed. The 160 and 170 are for taller teens who want more ski under them as they push into more aggressive lines.

A skier who's already skiing hard on firm snow and wants a high-torsional, metal-laminate carver will want to look at something else — this is a wood-and-fiberglass build with no metal, so it trades edge lock for weight savings and playfulness.

Tech that Matters

Poplar PEFC Wood Core. Sustainably certified poplar keeps the ski light without going dead. It's lively enough to pop off rollers, damp enough not to chatter when the surface firms up.

Twin Rocker Profile. Rocker at both tip and tail means quick pivots and a short effective edge when you need it. The camber underfoot still gives you something to push against in a turn.

Progressive Sidecut — 118-90-108mm. The sidecut runs from 11m at 140cm to 19m at 170cm. That gradual taper lets the ski arc a real turn without demanding perfect technique to get there.

CAP Construction. The topsheet wraps edge to edge with no sidewall. Lighter than a full sidewall build, easier to swing around, more forgiving when you're still working on timing.

XPress 10 GW Binding. Ultralight, tool-free integrated rail system. It's compatible with both Alpine (ISO 5355) and GripWalk (ISO 23223) boot soles, and adjusts across a wide BSL range without a screwdriver. Bring your boots in and we'll set it up correctly — don't guess on DIN.

Why Willi's

We've been fitting kids and families into ski gear since 1970. Stop into any of our three locations and we'll mount and adjust these bindings properly, check the fit, and make sure the whole setup actually works for the skier — not just the size chart. That's the part a shipping box can't do.
