The Ski
The Rossignol Scratch Pro is a twin-tip, all-mountain freestyle ski built for advancing junior skiers who want to ski everything — groomers, bumps, and the park. It's a real ski with a proper poplar wood core, fiberglass layup, and a 80mm waist that handles most conditions without going stiff on you. Tip and tail rocker keeps it playful and easy to spin, and the extended sidecut gives it more grip on edge than a pure park ski. The XPress 10 GW binding comes included, pre-configured and ready for a tech to mount to the right boot sole.
Who its for
This is the right ski for an intermediate-to-advancing junior who's comfortable on blue runs and starting to poke at steeper terrain or the park. The twin tip keeps it fun riding switch or trying tricks, and the 80mm waist is narrow enough to carve a real turn. If your kid is still in early beginner lessons, this isn't the right fit — a narrower, softer all-mountain package will serve them better. Check out our kids ski collection for the full range, from first-timers to kids skiing expert lines.
Tech that matters
The cap sidewall construction keeps weight down on a ski a growing kid will be hauling around all day. Poplar PEFC-certified wood core gives it a lively, forgiving flex — responsive enough for fast groomers, soft enough to stay fun in mixed snow. Tip and tail rocker means the ski releases easily at the start and finish of a turn, which translates to less fighting the tails and more time trying the next rail or feature. The XPress 10 GW binding has a DIN range of 2.5-10 and GripWalk sole compatibility — plenty of range for most junior boot setups, but bring the boots in and we'll check the fit before we mount anything.
Why Willi's
We've been fitting junior skiers in the Pittsburgh area since 1970, and we know these packages inside out. Stop into any of our three locations and we'll mount the bindings, dial in the DIN, and make sure the whole setup fits your kid right — no guessing at home. Ask about our Junior Buyback Program while you're in.
