The Pants
Rossignol built these for skiers who want to stay out longer without piling on layers. The shell is a 2-layer construction rated 20K waterproof and rated extremely breathable, so wet snow and slush stay outside while sweat has a way out. Synthetic insulation runs through the whole pant - warm enough for a cold chairlift ride, thin enough that you can still move through a bump run or bend into a tuck on a groomer.
What We Like
We like that Rossignol didn't skimp on the details that matter on a cold day. Reinforced cuffs take the abuse from ski edges and boot buckles without fraying after one season. Built-in gaiters seal around your boots so snow can't creep up your leg in deep tracked-out snow or on a powder morning. Hand pockets are cut deep enough for a phone and a lift ticket. And the suspenders come off - so if you run warm, or you're layering a heavier sweater underneath, you can ditch the harness and cinch the adjustable waist instead.
Fit & Sizing
These run true to size for the average build. The adjustable waist and removable suspenders give you room to fit a base layer or a midweight fleece underneath without feeling stuffed into the pant. Size up if you plan to layer heavy underneath or want a roomier fit through the leg. Size down if you want a slimmer, more built-for-carving profile.
Why Willis
We've been fitting Pittsburgh skiers since 1970, and pants are one item worth trying on in person - bring your usual base layer when you stop by any of our three locations. Our staff will help you land on the size that leaves room to move without swimming in fabric.
