The Helmet

The Fury runs a Level C ventilation system, meaning one lever opens both the front and upper vents at once. That's the kind of thing you notice on a long spring day when you're sweating through your base layer on a warm run and want airflow right now, with your gloves on. Close them back up when the wind picks up. It takes a second. The Ripcord360 fit system wraps all the way around the head, adjusts in either direction, and releases instantly with a single pull on the dial if you need a quick size change mid-day.

The Fidlock magnetic buckle is a small thing that adds up over a season. Gloves on, cold hands, one hand free. Click. Done. And the goggle integration is genuinely well thought out — Pret's VisionVent channels align the goggle vents with dedicated airflow paths in the helmet, pulling moisture away from your face. That gap between helmet and goggle that funnels cold air straight to your forehead? Gone.

What Sets It Apart

The construction is ACT In-Mold Multi Shell with what Pret calls Specific Gravity EPS density — different zones of foam density are mapped to different impact zones. The MIPS layer sits between the shell and the liner. On an angled impact, it moves independently, redirecting rotational forces away from the brain. Pret uses the MIPS C2 system, which is their current lightest and thinnest option.

Inside, the HALEO antimicrobial EPS foam kills 99.9% of bacteria at the foam level, not just at the liner. Combined with the IONIC+ antimicrobial fabric liner, the helmet stays fresh over a full season of hard use. The ear covers are removable and use a soft Loden blend fabric. Audio-ready ear pockets are built in if you run a speaker system. Certified ASTM F2040.

Fit & Safety

Measure around your head just above your eyebrows — that number in centimeters puts you in the right size. Medium covers 55–59 cm, Large covers 59–62 cm. If you land right on a border, Pret recommends going larger to leave room for a thin skull cap or balaclava underneath. The Ripcord360 dial takes care of the rest of the adjustment. If you want to try it on before you buy, stop in at our shop at Seven Springs or any of our three locations and we'll put it on your head and check the fit properly.
