The Jacket

The Picture Organic Zoya is a straight-fit women's ski jacket built for full days on the mountain. It runs a Dryplay 20K/20K membrane — 20,000mm waterproofing and 20,000g/m² breathability — so it handles everything from heavy wet snow to a warm spring bluebird. The outer shell is 100% Circular Polyester, meaning it's made from recycled material with The CIRCULAR certification, and the Teflon Ecoelite™ PFC-free DWR finish keeps that certification honest. This isn't a lightweight shell playing dress-up as a ski jacket — it's got the features that actually make a difference on the hill.

The hood uses a three-point adjustment system and sits close without bulk. Critically taped seams mean there's no weak spot where stitching meets waterproofing. The YKK® two-way waterproof zipper gives you options on fit and ventilation through the main opening. And the fixed, elasticated snow skirt stays put whether you're carving or taking a tumble.

Ventilation is handled by pit zips — the fastest way to dump heat without unzipping the whole jacket. Adjustable hook-and-loop cuffs close down over gloves, and the wrist gaiters with thumbholes give you that second layer of seal between your sleeve and your glove. The hem draws down with a cord. Nothing fancy, nothing missing.

Pockets: zippered hand pockets, a waterproof-zip chest pocket, a ski pass pocket on the sleeve, plus an internal mesh pocket and a zippered interior pocket. Weights in at 0.888 kg. The Scrub Print colorway is a botanical-style pattern — earthy, subdued, not loud.

The honest trade-off: this is a resort skiing jacket. It's not insulated, so on genuinely cold days you'll want a solid mid-layer underneath. If you ski in heavy insulation or want all-in-one warmth, a women's insulated jacket might fit your day better. But if you run warm, layer smart, or ski in variable conditions where breathability matters, the Zoya's shell construction is the better call.

What We Like

The 20K membrane is a real number. A lot of jackets in this price range top out at 10K, which starts to wet out in sustained heavy snow. At 20K you've got real headroom. The PFC-free DWR is also worth calling out — not just for the planet, but because Teflon Ecoelite™ is a durable formulation that holds up to washing better than older treatments. The snow skirt is fixed and elasticated, not a hook-and-eye system that comes undone mid-run. And the straight fit sits right between a slim performance cut and a relaxed boxy jacket — comfortable enough for a full ski day without the boxy look that kills layering.

Fit & Sizing

Picture cuts the Zoya in a straight fit. It's not a slim race cut and it's not oversized — it sits naturally over a base layer and a light-to-medium mid-layer. The wrist gaiters and adjustable cuffs work well over most glove setups. We stock S, M, and L. If you're between sizes and tend to layer heavier, go up. If you ski in just a base layer and a light fleece, stay true to size.
