The Piece

The Picture Organic Kimag 1/4 Zip Fleece is a 280G sherpa pullover built from 100% recycled polyester. It's thick enough to wear as your outer layer on a cold walk to the lift or a chilly après session, and trim enough to disappear under a shell when the weather turns. The Vintage Indigo colorway has a clean, worn-in look that holds up well in and out of the mountain environment.

It's not a technical midlayer with zones and baffles. It's a straightforward sherpa fleece that does warm-and-comfortable really well, and guys who reach for it most are the ones who want one layer that handles a lot of situations without overthinking it.

What We Like

The 280G sherpa weight hits a good spot. Warmer than a grid fleece, lighter than a full zip with insulation — you're not sweating through a chairlift ride and you're not underdressed at the bottom. The relaxed fit gives you room to move and layers naturally over a men's base layer when temps really drop. Dry Now moisture management pulls sweat away on higher-output days. The YKK® quarter zip and warm high collar let you dial the ventilation without reaching for your jacket. Elastic binding at the cuffs and collar locks the fit and keeps cold air from sneaking in. Two hand pockets round it out.

One honest trade-off: the sherpa fabric picks up and holds moisture longer than a tighter grid fleece, so if you're skiing hard and sweating a lot, a lighter midlayer is the better call.
