The Jacket

The Raze is Obermeyer's do-everything men's jacket for guys who want one jacket that covers a full season of needs without a lot of fuss. It's built from a 2-way stretch fabric - 45% REPREVE recycled polyester and 55% polyester - so it moves with you instead of fighting you on the chairlift or in the moguls. Clean lines, no loud graphics. This is a jacket you can wear to the mountain on Saturday and to dinner after.

What We Like

The raglan sleeve cut and the Full-Motion and Ski Contour articulation are the real story here. Reach up to grab a chairlift bar or throw a pole plant and the jacket doesn't ride up or bunch at the shoulder. The CZV pit zips with mesh gussets actually vent - not just a zipper that lets in a little air, but a real channel that dumps heat fast when you're hiking for a pow stash or just skied yourself into a sweat. The hood is 2-way adjustable, removable, and fits over a helmet, which covers you whether the storm rolls in or the sun comes out.

Fit & Sizing

The Raze runs true to size with room to layer a midweight fleece underneath without feeling bulky. A size Medium fits a chest around 40-42 inches comfortably, Guys who run broad through the shoulders or like a looser, more casual cut should size up - the articulated cut is built close enough that a snug size can feel restrictive over a thick base layer.
