The Pants
The Bond Print is Obermeyer's slim-cut softshell pant built for women who want to look good on the chairlift and still move like they mean it. The fleece lining keeps things warm without the bulk of a puffy insulated pant, and the 4-way stretch fabric moves with you through a mogul field or a lazy cruiser run. The all-over print gives it some personality too - this isn't a plain black pant.
What We Like
The fit is the whole story here. Obermeyer cut this one slim through the leg and hip. The articulated knee construction lets you bend and squat without the fabric bunching up behind your knee, which matters more than people think until they're stuck in a pant that fights them on every turn. The contoured high-back waistband sits above the low-back dip of most jackets, so no gap, no cold air sneaking in when you're bent over buckling boots.
Storage is minimal by design - a single lumbar zip pocket at the lower back, tucked out of the way. The powder cuffs have gripper elastic and a zip gusset at the hem, so they seal down over your boot and stay put through a full day instead of riding up.
Fit & Sizing
The Bond Print runs true to Obermeyer's slim fit, so if you like room to layer heavier baselayers underneath, consider sizing up. Available in sizes 4 through 14. Petite and taller builds both do fine in this cut since the articulation gives some give at the knee and seat, but if you're between two sizes, we'd size up rather than down for all-day comfort on the hill.
Why Willis
We've been fitting Pittsburgh skiers since 1970. Stop into any of our three locations and we'll get you into the right size before you buy it once and regret it at home. Our staff at Seven Springs can also help you sort it out slopeside if you're already up on the mountain.
