The Binding

The Look Pivot Brake is a replacement brake set for Look Pivot and Rossignol FKS bindings — the pair you need when a brake arm gets bent, cracked, or just won't hold its angle anymore. Each size is sold per brake (you'll need two for a full set), so you can replace one side or grab both at $55 each. Four widths cover most Pivot setups: 75mm, 95mm, 115mm, and 130mm.

What Sets It Apart

These aren't aftermarket knock-offs. They're the genuine Look brake-and-baseplate units, the same ones that ship with new Pivot bindings. They drop in the way the originals did. One important note: these brakes fit the classic Look Pivot line — Pivot 12, 14, 15, and 18 DIN versions. They do not fit the Pivot 2.0. Brakes don't come with mounting screws, and installation calls for a binding press and a torque driver. We handle that here — our ski and snowboard tuning service will get them set and tested before you walk out the door.

Compatibility

Fits Look Pivot (12, 14, 15, 18 DIN) and Rossignol FKS bindings. Not compatible with Pivot 2.0. Choose a brake width at or within roughly 15mm of your ski's underfoot measurement. If you're unsure which width fits your setup, bring the skis and bindings into any of our three locations and we'll sort it out.

Sizing

Pick the brake width closest to your ski's waist width. A skier whose waist falls right between two sizes should lean toward the wider option — a brake that's slightly too narrow drags on the snow; one that's slightly wide causes no real issue. When in doubt, bring the skis in and we'll measure.
