The Ski

The Supershape e-Rally is Head's dedicated groomer weapon. This is a 78mm waist mens skis built to carve hard, hold an edge on firm snow, and get back on edge fast when you're linking turns down a long blue or black groomer. It's not a ski that wants powder or crud. Point it at soft, chopped-up snow off the trail and it'll fight you the whole way - keep it where it belongs, on packed snow, and it rewards you.

Who It's For

This one's for advanced and expert skiers who spend their day on-piste and like to go fast doing it. The 78mm waist and stiff Titanal-reinforced build mean you need some skill and speed to make this ski work right - it doesn't flatter a tentative turn. If you're still building your carve or you split your time between groomers and the woods, this isn't the ski for that. But if you're the type who skis the same run twice just to open it up more, the e-Rally will do exactly what you ask.

Tech That Matters

Starts with Crossforce Carbon construction, which mounts the binding directly onto an exposed carbon layer rather than through a softer topsheet — meaning the power and precision from your boots reach the edges of the ski almost instantly, for race-level responsiveness. That's paired with a Worldcup Sandwich Cap layup combining a dense wood core with sheets of Titanal, giving the ski the torsional stiffness and high-speed stability that let it hold an edge under real pressure. HEAD's signature EMC (Energy Management Circuit) technology adds another layer of refinement: ceramic piezo plates embedded in the ski convert unwanted vibration into electrical energy, damping chatter so the ski stays smooth and quiet even at speed.
Speed Rocker profile (mostly camber underfoot with a touch of tip rise) keeps the ski locked in for hard carving while still easing turn initiation, and a Better Balance Base fine-tunes ramp angle for a more natural stance across boot sizes. It's finished with HEAD's Structured UHM C base — the same base material used on their race skis — for fast, durable glide

The Protector Evo 11 GW binding that's included is worth talking about on its own. It's built with 180-degree multi-directional release, meaning it's looking for twisting falls and awkward loads in more directions than a standard binding, which helps cut down on lower-leg and knee injuries when you go down wrong. We won't guess at a DIN range or brake width for your setup - bring your boots in and we'll get the binding matched and mounted correctly.

Sizing

Most skiers here should be skiing this somewhere near the brow or forehead. If you're between two lengths, go with how you actually ski - the faster and harder you push it, the more you'll want the longer length under you.

Why Willis

We've been fitting Pittsburgh skiers since 1970, and a ski like this deserves a real mount and a real edge tune before it hits the snow - not a rushed job at the register. Come see it in person at any of our three locations and we'll get your boots, DIN settings, and binding dialed in together, not guessed at.
