Who It's For

This ski is designed for intermediate to advanced women skiers who live mostly on groomed terrain but still want the versatility to venture into softer, more varied snow when the conditions call for it. It's a great fit for someone who values light weight, confident and easy turn initiation, and a refined, responsive ride over sheer aggression or a demanding, all-out charging feel. As the narrowest women's option in the Ripstick lineup, it's tuned specifically for skiers who spend most of their day on-piste, rewarding good form without punishing an off day.

The one honest trade-off: if you're an aggressive expert skier who likes to really charge and push hard into variable snow at speed, you'll probably want something stiffer and wider. The Ripstick 84 W is aimed at the strong intermediate through solid advanced range - not the racer crowd.

Tech That Matters

Elan uses their Amphibio construction here - the inside and outside edges of the ski have slightly different rocker and flex characteristics, which means the ski initiates turns more naturally and tracks better through the arc. It's a subtle thing, but you feel it after a few runs.

The carbon-infused woodcore keeps the weight down without giving up the snap you need to finish a turn cleanly. And the tip shape is designed to float and guide rather than dig, so variable snow doesn't catch you off guard.

Sizing

These come in 147, 154, and 161cm. For a women's all-mountain ski, skiers should be looking for around nose height. When in doubt, come into any of our three locations and we'll put you on the right length.
