The Boot
Burton's Limelight has been a mainstay in the women's line for a long time, and this Boa version is here for anyone who's tired of fighting laces with cold hands. Crank the dial, the boot tightens evenly around your foot, and you're done fussing and ready to ride. No re-lacing halfway down the hill because one spot feels loose. With a medium flex, so you can jib, butter, and carve the day away without ever having to think about your feet.
This isn't a boot built to charge steep lines at max speed. It's built to be comfortable for six hours straight, get on and off fast, and hold a fit that doesn't shift around as the day goes on.
Who It's For
This boot is for women riders who want dependable comfort and all-mountain versatility without a complicated setup. Its medium flex sits in a happy-medium zone — supportive enough to hold an edge and push into new skills, but forgiving enough to stay playful in the park or on mellow groomers — making it a strong fit for intermediate to advanced riders who explore the whole mountain rather than sticking to one style of terrain. The wide-fit build also makes it a great option for riders who need extra room in the forefoot and want all-day comfort without sacrificing performance.
Tech That Matters
The centerpiece is the Dual-Zone BOA Fit System with Coiler technology, which splits the boot into two independently adjustable lace zones — this matters because it lets you dial in the upper and lower boot separately with just a twist of a dial, so you get a precise, even fit around your whole foot instead of one section being too loose while another is too tight.
Inside is the Imprint 2 heat-moldable liner, built with 3M Thinsulate insulation for low-bulk warmth and a hook-and-loop closure that keeps the fit snug against your foot for better response and less break-in time. The Lock-Up inner cuff is a low-profile design that routes the laces around the ankle, which keeps your heel locked in place for consistent hold while still making the boot easy to get on and off.
Underfoot, the DynoGRIP outsole adds B3 Gel cushioning in the heel along with extra traction at the toe and heel, giving you durable, snowboard-specific grip and shock absorption that also uses 10–15% recycled rubber content, so it treads a bit lighter on the planet too.
Pair it with the right board and you'll notice the difference in how locked-in your stance feels. Take a look through our snowboards if you're building the whole setup from scratch.
Sizing
We carry this boot in 7, 8, 8.5, and 9. Boa boots run true to size for most riders, but foot shape varies enough that we'd rather have you try them on than guess off a size chart. Bring your usual snowboard socks - not your thick everyday winter socks - and stop into any of our three locations for a fitting.
Why Willis
We've been fitting boots in the South Hills since 1970, and boot fit is where most snowboard setups go wrong - not the board, not the bindings. Come into our South Hills, North Hills, or Seven Springs shop and we'll get you into the right size and flex before you buy, not after.
