The Snowboard
This is Burton's time-tested quiver-of-one, born from years of blasting through Vermont's tight trees and unexpected conditions. It's a daily driver built with Family Tree-level materials and craftsmanship, engineered to handle everything a home mountain throws at you — hardpack, chopped-up snow, powder days, and everything in between — without demanding you own three different boards to do it.
Who It's For
This board is for the intermediate-to-expert rider who wants one board to rule their entire season rather than a quiver of specialized decks. It suits riders who spend most of their time exploring the whole mountain — carving groomers, weaving through trees, popping off side hits, and pushing into steeper or deeper terrain when conditions allow. It's especially well-suited to East Coast-style riders dealing with variable, often firm conditions, but it flexes into all-mountain and light freeride use anywhere. Less experienced riders will find it approachable and easy to turn, while advanced riders will find enough power and stability to charge hard.
Tech That Matters
Underneath the topo lines on the topsheet is the Super Fly II 700G wood core with Dualzone EGD, which uses lighter, stronger wood to boost pop and edge response while keeping swing weight low — this is what gives the board snap without feeling heavy or sluggish underfoot.
The directional camber and rockered nose combination provides stability and edge hold through variable snow while adding just enough lift up front for float in deeper conditions, so the board doesn't wash out when things get soft. A 45° carbon-highlight fiberglass layup adds a tip-to-tail carbon layer that trims weight and fine-tunes torsional feel, meaning the board reacts precisely when you twist it into a turn. The 12mm taper narrows the tail relative to the nose, letting the tail sink naturally in powder while the nose floats — a detail that matters most on deeper days.
Finally, the Sintered WFO base is a highly porous, wax-infused base material that stays fast and durable across a full season of varied conditions, so it needs less maintenance to keep gliding well.
Sizing
For the 26/27 season we brought on 3 sizes to conver a wide range of rider wieghts. The 152cm size will suite riders on light size between 120 and 180 while the 156cm is better for the 150-200 range. There is some overlap here depending on height and the riders style. If you are 180-260+ and considering this board, you should look at the 160cm size.
