Atomic Redster G9 FIS J-RP Skis Package with Colt 12 Bindings
The Ski
This is a legit FIS-spec GS ski built for young racers — not a shaped ski with a race graphic slapped on it. The Redster G9 FIS J-RP runs a Power Woodcore with Titanal layers and full sidewall construction, so it actually holds an edge on Pennsylvania hardpack and Seven Springs ice. The Jr. Race Plate System comes pre-drilled from the factory, which means no drilling — just mount and go. It accommodates boots from 217mm to 305mm in the center position.
Not for you if your kid is just getting into skiing or dabbling in gates. This ski wants a committed junior racer with proper technique.
Sizing
Three lengths available: 131, 138, and 145cm. These correspond to tighter 14.0m–15.0m turning radii built for technical GS courses, not freeride turns. Go by the racer's height and coach's recommendation — not just age.
Why Willi's
We've been fitting junior racers and their parents since 1970 — we know the difference between a real race setup and a marketing ski. Bring your racer in and we'll get the binding mounted and dialed to their boot sole length the right way.
