The Ski
Why own a quiver of skis when one can do it all? The Bent 100 has earned near-mythical status among freeride skiers as the ski that goes everywhere and does everything — powder stashes, groomers, trees, bumps, side hits, and even the odd park lap — without asking you to compromise on any of it. For 2027 the construction stays untouched (Atomic already got it right), with only a fresh Chris Benchetler topsheet graphic marking the new model year.
Who It's For
This ski is built for intermediate to expert skiers who want a single, versatile pair of skis rather than a specialized quiver — someone who splits time between groomers, soft snow, side country, and maybe the terrain park, and doesn't want to be swapping skis based on conditions. It particularly appeals to playful, creative skiers who like to slash, butter, spin, and explore natural features, while still wanting enough backbone to feel composed when conditions turn firm or inconsistent. It's less a pure carving ski and more the ski for someone who treats the whole mountain as their playground.

Tech That Matters
At the center of the construction is a Light Woodcore made from poplar, which keeps the ski's weight down without sacrificing shock absorption or stability — this is what makes the Bent 100 feel quick and easy to pivot rather than heavy and locked-in, especially useful in tight trees or bumps. The ski uses HRZN 3D Bent Tip and Tail technology, a full-wrap tip and tail profile that opens up the front (and back) of the ski in soft snow, giving it a livelier, more playful feel and helping it release and spin easily — important for anyone who wants to ski switch or hit side features without fighting the ski. Layered on top is an all-mountain rocker-camber-rocker profile (roughly 20% tip rocker, 65% camber, 15% tail rocker), with slightly more tail rocker than earlier generations — this combination is the reason the ski can float and slash in powder yet still hold an edge on firm snow, since the camber underfoot keeps grip while the rockered tip and tail keep it loose and forgiving. A Dura Cap Sidewall (running edge to edge from base to topsheet) adds torsional stability and edge hold on hardpack, which matters because it's what keeps a playful, lightweight ski from feeling sketchy the moment you hit a firm groomer. Finally, thicker Resist Edges are built in for extra durability against park rails and boxes, since a ski this versatile is likely to end up sliding more than just snow.
Sizing
The Bent 100 comes in 165, 172, 179, and 186. Most people end up on a length within a few centimeters of their height, but ability level and skiing style matter too. Aggressive skiers who love speed typically size up. Lighter skiers or those who prioritize maneuverability can size down. We can help you dial this in.
Why Willi's
We've been fitting skiers in Pittsburgh since 1970. Buying a ski this capable deserves a proper setup — boots, bindings, and tuning included — and that's exactly what you'll get here. Come see us.
