The Ski
The 2027 Armada BDOG 94 is Phil Casabon's signature ultrasoft freestyle ski, built for skiers who treat the entire mountain as one giant creative playground. Thanks to its Circle Flex construction, the tip and tail bend with almost no resistance, letting riders press, butter, and mold the ski through transitions in a way stiffer skis simply can't replicate. This isn't a ski that rewards brute force — it rewards imagination.
Who It's For
This ski is aimed at advanced to expert freestyle skiers — the crowd that lives for buttering rails, sculpting transitions, and hitting urban features as much as (or more than) groomed runs. It's the natural choice for creative, park-and-pipe-oriented riders and anyone who sees the whole resort, not just the terrain park, as fair game for tricks. It's not designed to be a hard-charging, high-speed all-mountain daily driver — the ultrasoft flex trades stability at speed for playfulness and pop.
Tech That Matters
The heart of the ski is its Poplar/Ash wood core, which blends naturally light and lively poplar through the body with denser ash stringers reinforcing the binding/mount zone — giving you a ski that feels soft and forgiving in the tip and tail but still holds together under your feet during hard landings. Layered on top of that is Circle Flex, the signature tech that makes the tips and tails exceptionally pliable, so the ski loads and releases smoothly through presses and butters instead of fighting you. A Freestyle Rocker profile (rocker in the tip and tail, camber underfoot) rounds things out, giving float and forgiveness in soft snow while still delivering solid edge grip on firmer terrain. Durability-focused details matter here too: Impact Edges are built to survive repeated rail and box abuse, an S7 sintered base offers fast, easy-glide performance, and the AR75 hybrid sidewall (a mix of sidewall and cap construction) balances edge hold with a lighter swing weight for spins and tricks.
Sizing
The BDOG 94 comes in 164, 172, and 180cm. For most skiers here, you should be skiiing it close to your same height or 5-7 cm shorter.
