The Ski

The ARV 94 has been one of Armada's most consistent performers for years, and the 2027 version doesn't mess with what works. At 94mm underfoot, it sits in that sweet spot — wide enough to float through the soft stuff at Seven Springs after a good dusting, nimble enough to carve groomers without feeling like a barge. Poppy and buttery enough to follow your friends into the park on a bluebird day. This is the ski you grab when you don't know exactly what the mountain is going to throw at you.

If you're browsing and you keep bouncing between an all-mountain charger and something with a little more freestyle DNA, the ARV 94 is where those two ideas meet. It rips in the trees, holds an edge on hardpack, and doesn't punish you for hitting a jump on the way down.

Who It's For

Intermediate to advanced skiers who ski everything. Not mogul specialists, not dedicated park guys — skiers who lap the whole mountain and want one ski to do it all. If your lapping a crisp park in the morning and exploring the rest of the mountain in the afternoon, this is your ski.

Not for you if you're a brand-new skier still working on parallel turns. The ARV 94 rewards a skier who can drive through the front of the boot and actually use the profile. Put a beginner on this and they'll feel lost. Also worth saying — at 94mm, this is not a dedicated powder ski. A proper deep day, you might wish you had something wider.

Tech That Matters

The ARV 94 runs a poplar wood core — lightweight without feeling noodly - tons of pop. Armada adds in an Ash binding insert for maximum strength and bindings retention - our techs love mounting these skis - very reliable. Throw in a durable and low maintenance S7 base with oversized 2.5 impact edges and you have a classic all-mtn freestlye ski built for the whole mountain.

The rocker profile is a pretty classic all-mountain twin setup: early rise tip, slight tail rocker, traditional camber underfoot. That means real edge grip when you need it and enough forgiveness in the tip to float through soft snow or initiate turns without getting caught. Whether you're lapping the trees off the side of North Face or cruising down through the park, the ski just works.

Sizing

The ARV 94 comes in 164, 171, and 178cm. For most skiers, go with your height in centimeters as a starting point, then adjust based on how aggressive you ski. Lighter skiers or those who like a quicker feel should size down. Bigger, more powerful skiers who charge hard terrain should go true to height or even up.
