The Cypress is designed for advanced to expert all-mountain riders who want a binding with power and an intuitive feel. Arbor stiffened their exclusive System X Baseplate with double the fiberglass for increased strength, response, and stability. The highback is lighter, stiffer, and provides more lateral support for more freedom of movement. Additionally, they added a special TPE rubber to the outsole for rebound and cushioning during high-impact landings. The footbed is dual density with the top side made from a firmer material for durability and direct contact with the rider's boot. EVA pods are also placed under the ball and heel area to improve board feel and absorb shock from hard landings. With all these features, the Cypress provides high-speed, big-mountain performance.

• Chassis: System X – allocates energy across the baseplate's structural X shape, and out to the four cardinal points. The result is quicker, more effective control. 30% glass content for added strength and stability.
• 65A Durometer Outsole – The Outsole is a dampening interface made from a special TPE rubber.diffuses high-frequency chatter while providing rebound and cushion for high-impact landings. On the Cypress, Arbor uses a slightly stiffer durometer TPE for added performance.
