What We Like

The minimalist cut is the sell here. No busy panels, no logos plastered everywhere, just a clean shell that looks as normal in an airport as it does on a chairlift. The vents dump heat fast when you're hiking for turns or working hard in the park, and the whole system packs down small enough that you're not hauling a bulky jacket through security. Tech That Matters

The shell is made from a 3-layer Sorona bio-based fabric, waterproof membrane bonded to the fabric on both the outer and inner layers, which holds up to repeated wear better than a single-layer build. It's rated infiDRY 20K, meaning 20,000mm of waterproofing - enough to shrug off wet spring snow and driving rain without soaking through. The fabric is windproof on top of that, so a shell-only day still blocks the chill even without the vest zipped in. The insulated vest is the piece doing the heat-trapping work, and it's removable rather than sewn in, so you're not stuck carrying warmth you don't need. Air-Flo vents let you dump heat mid-run instead of overheating and stripping layers.

Fit & Sizing

This one runs true to a standard athletic fit with room for a midlayer underneath the shell - expect Small to fit a 36-38" chest, Medium 39-41", Large 42-44", and XL 45-48". If you tend to layer heavy or like a looser cut for mobility, size up. One thing worth knowing: the shell by itself isn't a heavy insulator, so on the coldest days you'll want the vest zipped in rather than relying on the shell alone.
