The Piece

The 686 Chimay is a cropped fleece anorak pulled from old-school camp fleece styling. It hits right at the waist instead of the hip, so it doesn't bunch up under a shell or ride up when you're reaching, bending, or twisting into a turn. A center front zip gets you in and out fast, two hand pockets keep your fingers warm on the lift, and a fleece collar adds a little extra coverage around the neck without a hood crowding your helmet.

What We Like

This is a layering piece first, a wear-it-around-town piece second. It's warm enough for a day riding under a shell and casual enough to keep on after you've kicked your boots off. The cropped cut gives you a full range of motion through the shoulders and torso that a longer fleece just won't.

Fit & Sizing

The Chimay runs fitted and cropped - snug through the body, with enough stretch to move with you. If you like to layer close with a base layer or a light tee underneath, stick with your usual size. If you want room to stack an extra layer on colder days, size up. It's available in S, M, and L.
