The New Lange Shadow Ski Boots
The new Lange Shadow series starts with 3 major enhancements to Lange's legendary performance. The 1st is the physical change to the liner combining two technologies to increase a skier's interaction with the snow. The 2nd is the new auxetic liner which ups the game of fit and comfort to a new level that is unmatched in high-performance ski boots. The 3rd is the new Lange snow seal that seals the boot from water and outside elements and gives the inside of the boot more room over the instep.
The Lange Shadows Series of ski boots raises the level of power transfer, vibration absorption, and comfort to all-mountain skiing. The shadow series is designed to amplify power and control with less energy.
Lange's engineers created the Assisted Performance System to enhance the skier's input to the boot by combining two technologies: Dual Pivot and Suspension Blade. The Assisted Performance System is Similar to a rocker arm on a full-suspension mountain bike. The design enhances input by up to 26%, giving you more energy transfer with less energy. The boot's smooth, linear flex is combined with increased shock absorption through the shell to provide the skier with a better snow feel and interaction. The system lets you ski longer and more efficiently.

The Dual Pivot system produces a mechanical advantage of 26% for skier engagement with less input, delivering more power and control with less effort.
Lange's Suspension Blade design connects the upper cuff with the lower boot with an elastic dampener for smooth power absorption and transfers through the boot, putting more energy into your skiing.
Auxetic Liner Technology
Auxetic Technology lets the boot liner form the foot's shape in all three dimensions for uniform comfort that enables you to ski all day. Lange's new one-piece liner is constructed an asymmetrical toe box that a uniform, pressure-free fit for the whole comfortable fit possible.

The Lange Shadow 130, Shadow 120, Shadow 115 W, and Shadow 95 W all feature Lange's Dual Core polyurethane for both the upper cuff and lower shell. Lange's Dual Core shell construction is a co-injection polyurethane process that allows layers different hardness to optimize energy transmission, rebound, and flex pattern.
The Shadow 110, Shadow 100, and Shadow 85 W feature a Lyfran cuff.
