The Boot

The K2 BFC 75 W has one job: get new skiers into gear that actually fits, without punishing their shins on day one. It's a women's boot with a 103mm last - wide, high-volume, built for feet that want to enjoy the whole day. At a 75 flex, it's soft enough that a beginner can flex forward and steer the ski without fighting the boot the whole run down.

Who It's For

This boot fits the skier who's done with rentals and ready to own something molded to her actual foot. Got a wider foot, a higher instep, or just want room to wiggle your toes on the chairlift? The 103mm last gives you that. A 75 flex is soft - it won't give the stiff, responsive feel a skier bombing steep terrain wants, and that's fine, because that's not who this boot is for. This is a beginner and early-intermediate boot, built for skiers still building leg strength and linking turns on greens and easy blues.

Flex & Fit

Flex 75 gives easily when you push into the cuff. That's exactly what a new skier needs while learning to stack her body over the ski instead of getting thrown back on her heels. The wide last cuts down pressure on the forefoot and pinky toe - less time thinking about aching feet, more time thinking about turns. And the liner is heat-moldable, so we can dial in a custom fit in the shop instead of making you break it in over a dozen days.

Tech That Matters

The CushFit liner heat-molds around your foot shape - one appointment with us and it's shaped to you, not the other way around. Hands-free entry means the cuff opens wide thanks to a dual-material overlap design, so you step in without wrestling the tongue or pulling with your hands every time. Four light alloy buckles plus a 30mm power strap let you fine-tune fit around the foot and ankle. The soles run GripWalk ISO 23223, rockered for real traction - walking through the lodge or across the lot beats slipping around on a flat alpine sole.

Why Willis

We've been fitting Pittsburgh skiers into boots since 1970, and a boot like this lives or dies on the fit - not the flex number on the box. Come into any of our three locations and we'll heat-mold the liner and check buckle placement before you're back on snow. Outgrow the flex in a season or two? We'll help you step up.
