The Binding
The Rossignol Works is a soft-flex, all-mountain snowboard binding built for riders who are new to the sport or still putting the pieces together. It covers the basics without cutting corners on durability — and it does a few things that entry-level bindings usually don't. Simple and clean was exactly where Rossignol went with this option. They didn't skimp out on what a rider at this level really needs.
Who It's For
This binding is aimed squarely at beginners and early intermediates. If you're buying your first setup or upgrading from a rental rig, the Works fits the bill — soft flex, forgiving response, and tool-free adjustments that let you dial in your stance on the hill without a screwdriver. Riders who are comfortable linking turns and want to start exploring more of the mountain will get real mileage out of these through their second and third seasons.
If you're already riding aggressively or charging harder terrain, you'll want something with a stiffer chassis and more direct response. The Works is the right binding for developing riders, not for those who've already arrived.
Browse our full selection of men's snowboard bindings if you want to compare it against mid-flex and advanced options side by side.
Tech That Matters
The baseplate is PA6 nylon reinforced with 30% glass fiber — that's the same material approach you'll see on bindings costing significantly more. It gives the Works a consistent, lively feel underfoot without adding unnecessary stiffness for a developing rider.
The DualBack highback adjusts forward lean, so you can tune how aggressively the binding pushes you into your heelside turn. More lean for steeper runs, less when you're cruising groomers and still working on balance. The Ghost straps are 3D molded TPU with a length adjuster on each one — they wrap a boot heel-to-toe without pressure points, and sizing them to your boot takes about thirty seconds.
Backlight buckles are light and crisp. The adjustable gas pedal lets you center your boot properly on the baseplate regardless of your foot size.
Why Willi's
We've been fitting riders across three Pittsburgh-area locations. Bring your boots and your board into any of our three locations and we'll check the fit, set your stance angles, and make sure everything mounts up right before you leave. Getting that part wrong is an easy thing to fix in the shop and a frustrating thing to discover on the hill.
