The Shorty 7.0 is a true twin-tip with symmetric flex, so it rides the same forward or switch - which matters if your kid's already trying to spin off little side hits or just goof around backwards on the trails. An aspen wood core keeps it light enough for a smaller skier to actually move and pivot it, not muscle it around.

What Sets It Apart

The FDT 7.0 binding comes mounted and ready, with a DIN range of 2.0-7.0 that adjusts as boot size changes year to year. That's the real value here - one package that grows with a kid instead of a binding you have to swap out next season. It's built for beginner to intermediate junior freestyle skiers, not race-bred hardpack chargers, so don't expect it to feel locked-in at high speed.

Sizing

At 139 cm this one sits up around the chin to nose for a smaller, newer skier. The 149 cm runs closer to nose height and suits a junior who's already comfortable linking turns and starting to hit switch.

Why Willis

We've been fitting Pittsburgh kids into their first real skis since 1970, and junior gear is where fit actually matters most. Stop into any of our three locations and we'll set the DIN, check the boot fit, and get your kid rolling on something built to actually keep up with them.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0621/6001/1469/files/Line_Wallisch_Shorty_7-0_Skis_with_FDT_7-0_Bindings_2027-0-H.webp?v=1793589540
https://www.willisskiandboard.com/products/line-skis-wallisch-shorty-7-0-skis-with-fdt-7-0-bindings-2027
