686-waterproof-mens-team-hoody-2027
686 Waterproof Mens Team Hoody 2027

The Piece

686 built the Team Hoody for riders who want to look like they just grabbed a sweatshirt off the couch, not like they suited up for a storm. Underneath the soft, stretchy face fabric sits 10k waterproofing. A cinch at the hem locks out drafts when you need it and stays loose when you don't.

What We Like

The fabric is the trick here. It moves and drapes like cotton fleece, but it's built from a 3-layer construction with a waterproof membrane bonded to fabric on both sides — so it holds up to real winter use instead of wetting out after one lap. We also like the dedicated phone pocket.

Fit & Sizing

The Team Hoody runs true to a standard mens hoody fit — not baggy, not slim, just normal. If you like a little room to layer a base layer or light fleece underneath, size up. If you're planning to wear this as your only mid layer under a shell, true to size works fine. Stop into any of our three locations and try one on before you buy — fit through the shoulders varies more than people expect on hoodies like this.

Why Willis

We've been fitting Pittsburgh skiers and riders since 1970, and we know the gear that actually gets worn versus the gear that sits in a closet. Come try the Team Hoody on at any of our three locations and we'll help you figure out if it's a layer, a top layer, or both.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0621/6001/1469/files/686_Waterproof_Mens_Team_Hoody_2027-0-H.webp?v=1793589570
